1. Fuel
Fuel is not included and the fuel used must be paid for at the end of the rental.
Fuel for the 2 stroke boats costs 1.20 Euros per litre.
Fuel for the 4 stroke boats costs the same as the petrol station price for unleaded petrol.
You will be provided with a full tank and a can of extra fuel at the start. For longer rentals you can fill up again at the end of each day.

2. Insurance
The price includes third party insurance and public liability for customers.
The boats are insured up to 4 nautical miles from Nidri. This takes you to the North point of Meganisi Island, and as far South as the caves in the Meganisi channel.
A sea chart will be provided to you at the start of rental showing the exact area.

3. Safety Equipment
All boats are provided with all safety equipment required by Greek law.

4. Return Time
It is a condition of rental that boats are to be returned to base by 18.00 every day. This is for safety reasons, so that we know you are safely back home before night.
The only exception to this is with the prior written permission of Lantisworld or the owner.

5. Breakdown and damage
If there is a breakdown inside the insured area we will refund you for the portion of the day when you could not use the boat.
If there is a breakdown outside the insured area you will have to pay for recovery (usually between 50 and 150 Euros).
At all times, customers are responsible for damage to the propeller. A replacement costs between 80 and 120 Euros.

6. Weather
Of course this is beyond our control. If the Port Police decide it is unsafe to go to sea then we will:
- provide a boat on a later date, or
- give you a full refund
Especially at the start and end of the summer we advise you to book your motorboat for the early part of your holiday. Then if the weather is not good on one day then you can take the boat on a later day.

7. License and age
You do not need a license for a boat up to 30 HP.
We require that at least one person on the boat is aged 21 years or older.
