charter; sail as you please with assistance if you need it
Our Lefkas bare boat charter is
perfect for:
- groups or families where
some of you are experienced sailors
- people who want the
freedom to plan their own route during the day, with the option to
join in the fun of a flotilla any time they like
- confident sailors who like
to know that there are experienced lead-yacht crew nearby if they
are needed
As already mentioned we operate a cross between a traditional
flotilla and a bare - boat charter. Clients on our flotillas are free
to come and go from it as much as they wish, provided they let the
flotilla skipper know of their plans in advance so that he doesn't start
worrying when they don't arrive in port that night.
Likewise, if anyone wants to just bareboat and not take part in the
flotilla we just ask that you stay with the group for the first night to
reassure us that you are able to handle the yacht and the Mediterranean
mooring techniques and also to make sure that you are happy with the
yacht and its equipment. We also ask you to stay within an area from
Palairos to Astakos along the mainland and then across to Poros on
Kephalonia and up to Lefkas Town on Lefkas Island.
Please note: At no time are you allowed to sail to
the West of Lefkas or Kephalonia Islands or to sail at night.
In case of any problems, either one of our lead yachts will come to
your assistance or IBA, our 24 hour emergency breakdown service, can be
called out.
Please note: Our bareboat charters begin and end on Sunday. You can
board your yacht from approx. 17.00 on Sunday afternoon, and must leave
your yacht by 09.00am the following Sunday. If you are arriving on
Lefkas on a different day then we have a wide range of accommodation to
suit all tastes and pockets. We can arrange a hire car to meet you at
Preveza airport or your yacht, so that you can create your own fly /
drive / sail holiday. As previously mentioned, you must stay near to the
flotilla for the first day, and from Tuesday morning you are free to
choose your own route.

Extra payments: 1. There is an additional charge of 15
Euros per person to be paid at the time of booking. This is
for a buffet breakfast at the Armonia on Monday morning and
BBQ dinner (not drinks) at the Armonia on your last Saturday
night.

For Flotilla/Bareboat Charter there is an on-site cash
payment per yacht of €150 for one week and €170 for two
weeks (€40 supplement for yachts over 40ft LOA) to cover
Yacht Damage Waiver; Fuel; End of charter yacht clean &
bed-linen laundry; One souvenir chart of the area. Please
note this covers Yacht 'Damage' Waiver - any major items
lost (such as dinghy) must be replaced and/or paid for
locally before departing from the yacht.
