Newly opened in the summer of 2005, the Ionian Blue is a 5 star Deluxe category hotel with probably the best variety and standard of facilities on the Island of Lefkada. Backed by green Olive and Cypress clad mountains, the hotel occupies an enviable hillside position with superb views across the clear blue Ionian Sea to the Islands and mountains of the mainland. With so many facilities at the hotel, your most difficult decision will be how to leave it to explore the beautiful Island of Levkas itself.

Location
On the East coast of Lefkas between Nikiana (2km) and Perigialli (3km). About 5 km to the North of the main holiday village of Nidri with all it's restaurants, bars and nightlife. About 12km to the South of the Island's capital, Lefkada Town, with it's shops, museums, churches, Marina and restaurants.
The hotel has easy access by road to the mainland and Preveza airport, and to the beautiful beaches and mountains of Lefkas.

Hotel Description
The hotel is on a hillside and extends from the roadside, through gardens, down to it's very own beach. The beach is small and shallow, but is enhanced by a large area of wooden decking which extends over the sea. Free sun beds and umbrellas make this a wonderful place to relax and watch the yachts go by. There is a jetty for boat mooring. Watersports can be booked with reception for an extra charge.
The main reception is located on the top (roadside) level. From here, a system of lifts takes you to all levels, rooms and facilities of the hotel. The main pool and beach are reached by steps, although there is a pathway to the pool using an alternative route.

Reception (24 hours), 2 bars, 3 restaurants (with 'American' buffet breakfast), very large (600m2) 'infinity' swimming pool with free sun beds and umbrellas for guests, children's play ground, children's pool, and children's activities during high season, conference rooms and banqueting facilities, daytime activities (aerobics, competitions), evening entertainment (folklore, dancing, piano player), daily courtesy bus to Lefkas Town, car parking.
All guests have free use of gym, spa, steam room and sauna.

Junior Suites with sea view: Large bedroom with a double bed and the possibility of up to two extra beds for third and fourth persons.. The bedroom leads to an enclosed patio area with sofas and beautiful views. From here, doors lead out to a private pool. There is a bathroom with spa bath, separate shower, and wc. Junior suites have air conditioning, , heating, satellite television, telephone, music / radio, and safe.
